Travelling from Northampton to London Euston is easy, clocking in at around one hour travel time with West Midlands Railway
On your journey, you can sit back and relax as the train takes you down to the UK’s capital through Northamptonshire, passing other commuter hubs, and small idyllic market towns in between the luscious, green countryside of the South East before arriving at the modern metropolis – London.
West Midlands Railway covers a vast network including large cities in the Midlands like Birmingham and Wolverhampton, as well as smaller towns. It also offers regular connections linking the West Midlands with London Euston.
Departing from Northampton
The only way to get from Northampton to London Euston is with the West Midlands Railway. Yet, Northampton station is easily accessible by buses and taxis. It is located along St James’ Road just outside of the town centre.
Northampton station is a modern station and was completely renovated in 2015. Most routes at this station are served by West Midlands Trains to destinations like London Euston, Crewe, and Birmingham New Street. Although Avanti West Coast does operate a few services, too.
Main stops
Luckily, there are only four stops between Northampton and London Euston. These are: Wolverton, Milton Keynes Central, Bletchley, and Leighton Buzzard.

Arriving at London Euston
London Euston can be found between Cardington Street and Eversholt Street in Camden. It's a great place to depart as it’s easily accessible by bus, taxi, and the sprawling London Underground. Providing a direct link to the Northern and Victoria lines for onward connections throughout London.
There’s so much to do around London Euston, too. It’s only a few tube stops from there to beautiful Bloomsbury and the British Museum, not to mention the delectable Regent’s Park and Camden Town.

- Standard Class: Comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. There are also tables and power sockets for your devices.
- First Class: West Midlands Railway does not have any First Class sections on any of their trains.
West Midlands Railway train travel advice
- Luggage: Maximum of three items of luggage. This goes up to two larger items and one smaller bag.
- Pets: Dogs, cats, and other small animals can travel for free. Dogs must be on a lead. Other animals must travel in carriers. There is a maximum of two pets per passenger.
- Bicycles: Bikes can be stored free of charge, but space is limited. There is no need to book a space. Full-size bikes can’t be taken on trains arriving or departing from London Euston between 07:00 am and 09:59 am or departing from London Euston between 4pm and 6.59pm on weekdays, except on public holidays.
