Anytime Single Ticket
For those unsure of their exact departure time, the Anytime Single Ticket provides the flexibility to travel within a two-day period. However, travelers must complete their journey by 4:29 am on the last day.
Anytime Return Ticket
The Anytime Return Ticket offers the most flexibility for round trips. The outward journey can be taken within five days from the ticket date, and the return journey is valid for up to one month from the day of departure. This ticket is ideal for travelers needing extended time to complete their round trip.

To change an Anytime Ticket, buy a new one and apply for a refund on the original if you need to alter the travel date, route, or downgrade class. You can upgrade by paying the difference if traveling further or moving to First Class.
Refunds
Anytime Tickets are refundable without an admin fee if your train is delayed or cancelled and you choose not to travel.
If you cancel for other reasons, a refund is available but may incur a fee up to £5. Unused tickets can be refunded within 28 days of expiry, potentially with an admin fee.

Yes, an Anytime Day Return ticket is refundable. If you decide not to use your ticket for all or part of your intended journey, you can get a refund on TrainPal no more than 28 days after its expiry.
An administration fee may be required. The refund fees vary based on the ticket value, and the administration charge will not exceed £5 per ticket. If the administrative charge and/or other deductions exceed the refund amount, no refund will be payable.
