Departing from Bournemouth
The fastest route from Bournemouth to London is to take a direct train from South Western Railway to London Waterloo station. (Remember to bring a Railcard if you have one and add your Railcard before you purchase to ensure you buy cheap train tickets.)
Bournemouth station is located on Holdenhurst Road outside the town centre. It is easily accessible by local public transport, taxi, and car. The station is busy, handling both local and long-distance train services.

This journey includes nine stops: Pokesdown, Christchurch, New Milton, Brockenhurst, Southampton Central, Southampton Airport Parkway, Winchester, Basingstoke, and Clapham Junction.

Arriving at London Waterloo
The train from Bournemouth will arrive at London Waterloo station. It’s a great station to depart from, right in the centre of London. Nearby is Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, and the well-known London Eye.
