Arriving at London Waterloo
The train from Salisbury to London arrives at London Waterloo Station which is conveniently located on Waterloo Road.
The station has a dedicated London Underground station that runs on the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo, and City lines. It even has bus services at several points around the station, alongside a taxi rank outside exit three, giving you the perfect excuse to roam the city to your heart’s content.
When arriving at Waterloo Station, you’ll soon realise you have a whole banquet of things to do nearby. The legendary London Eye, Tate Modern, The Houses of Parliament, and proper British Big Ben are all super close.
South Western Railway train classes
- Standard Class: Comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. There are also tables and power sockets for your devices.
- First Class: It is possible to get a Salisbury to London First Class ticket. First Class tickets include at-seat wireless charging and more spacious seats and tables. Wheelchair spaces are available in Standard Class only. Yet it's worth remembering that this journey is only fifteen to eighteen minutes long.
