Reggio di Calabria “Tity Minniti” Airport – also known as Aeroporto dello Stretto (Airport of the Strait) – was Calabria’s first airport, followed by Laezia Terme and Crotone. The airport is located 5 km (3 miles) south of Reggio’s historic city centre, and is mainly served by two airlines: ITA Airways and Ryanair, who offer connections to other Italian cities and some international destinations.
