Milan Malpensa Airport is located 50 km (30 miles) northwest of Milan and is the largest international airport serving the city and its surrounding areas of Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria. Milan Malpensa Airport train stations
Malpensa Airport is home to two train stations that connect you to Milan city centre – one at Terminal 1, and another at Terminal 2.
Terminal 1
Malpensa Terminal 1 train station is located on Floor -1 and has four platforms. From here, you can quickly reach the gates via walkways, lifts, and escalators.
Terminal 1 is the larger terminal and hosts the majority of flights. Malpensa Airport by bus
Taking the Malpensa Airport bus is an easy and convenient way to get to and from Milan, as well as a number of other cities.
The Orio Shuttle service connects Bergamo to Malpensa Airport by bus, which also stops at Milan Bergamo Airport and Monza. There are seven departures a weekday in each direction, with five on weekends. Tickets cost €20 (about £17.30).
In addition to regional connections to Castelnovate, Gallarate, Cardano, and Somma Lombardo (TPL Saco), the main inter-city destinations reachable by bys are: Turin (Flibco, Airport Bus), Novara (STN), Domodossola (Comazzi), and Genoa (Volpi).
