Pisa International Airport – also known as Galileo Galilei Airport – is an international airport located in Pisa, located just 4 km from the city’s famous Leaning Tower and its historic centre. Pisa Airport is one of the two major airports in Tuscany, the other being Florence airport.

Pisa Airport train station
The PisaMover Airport station follows the route of the old railway line, replacing traditional trains with an automated shuttle. At the airport itself, you can enjoy a wide range of facilities, including duty-free shopping, bars and restaurants and the Galilei VIP Lounge.

Pisa Central Station
The terminus at the station is on Platform 14. From outside, you can access it via Via Quarantola.
PisaMover San Giusto/Aurelia Station
This is the intermediate stop of the PisaMover, situated near the airport car park. It can be reached from Via di Goletta and the roundabout on Via Aurelia.

Pisa Airport by bus
There are currently no bus transfers operating between Pisa Airport and Pisa city. However, if you are travelling to another city besides Pisa, you may have the option of travelling by bus.
This coach service connects Pisa Airport to Florence city centre in about 1 hr. Ticket prices vary by day and night, with adult day tickets starting from €11.99 (about £10.38) and night tickets costing €21.99 (about £19.05), while kids travel for €8.99 (about £7.80).
The Bus Area (P6) is located just outside the passenger terminal Arrivals hall. In Florence, daytime services stop at the “Guidoni” T2 tram line stop, while nighttime services stop in front of the Santa Maria Novella train station. There are about 8 departures a day, and you can bring luggage up to 20 kg on board.
FlixBus services depart from both the airport bus station and the PisaMover intermediate station. You’ll find connections to the following destinations:
