LNR Sorry, I’ve Got Plans Terms and Conditions

  • Tickets are valid on West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services only.   
  • The offer is for Off-Peak tickets only. 
  • Tickets are valid for travel to/from London, Birmingham and Liverpool only. Price is dependent on your origin and destination.

  • Tickets are not permitted for same-zone travel.

  • The offer can be purchased between 22 June – 6 July 2026. Bookings must be made 7 days or more before travel. 

  • The offer is for travel between 29 June – 31 August 2026 

  • You can purchase tickets via TrainPal or at ticket offices (not station ticket machines). 

  • Children under 5 travel free on West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway services. 

  • Children 5 – 15 travel half price. 

  • There is no limit to the number of tickets available. 

  • Not valid with Travelcard tickets. 

  • Railcards are accepted. 
  • Normal refunds for unused tickets apply via TrainPal. For train delays or cancellations, claims should be made via the rail operator's Delay Repay service. 

  • Off-Peak restrictions apply on weekdays, but not on weekends or bank holidays. 

  • Break of journey is permitted unless otherwise indicated by a restriction shown against the ticket's Restriction Code.

What weekday time restrictions apply to these promotional tickets? 

Off-peak restrictions apply during weekdays, meaning travel is not permitted during morning and evening rush hours. There are, however, no time restrictions on weekends or bank holidays.

Can I apply the Railcard discounts to the LNR Sale? 

Yes, Railcard discounts are accepted on “Sorry, I've Got Plans” tickets. For example, the Liverpool to London fare is reduced from £12.50 to £8.30.

What is the cancellation and refund policy if my plans change? 

You can apply for a refund for completely unused tickets via TrainPal for a small fee (up to £5). Just ensure you request it by 23:59 the day before your ticket becomes valid. If your journey is delayed, you can easily claim compensation via London Northwestern Railway's Delay Repay service.
