Save 25% on six popular Eurostar routes
The Eurostar sale is valid on the following routes:
London <> Paris
Train stations: London St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord
Avg. duration: 2 hours
Whether it's a romantic getaway or Christmas shopping, Paris is one of the world's must-visit capital cities - and the Eurostar takes you right into the heart of the action. Gare du Nord station is a short metro ride away from iconic attractions like Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
London <> Brussels
Train stations: London St Pancras International <> Brussels-Midi/Zuid
Avg. duration: 2 hours
With its delicious chocolate, crispy frites, and world-class beer, Brussels is a mecca for foodies. And then there's the architecture - the city boasts Gothic, Art Nouveau and Neoclassical buildings, including the iconic Grand Place. The Christmas markets at Bruges are just a short ride away, too.
London <> Amsterdam
Train stations: London St Pancras International <> Amsterdam Centraal
Avg. duration: 4 hours 15 minutes
Amsterdam's scenic canals and fascinating museums make it one of Europe's most popular city break destinations - the Van Gogh Museum and Vondelpark are just some of the top attractions. When you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, you can get everywhere by foot, too - much easier (and greener) than going by plane.
London <> Rotterdam
Train stations: London St Pancras International <> Rotterdam Centraal
Avg. duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
While Amsterdam may steal the limelight, Rotterdam is well worth a visit thanks to its quirky architecture and authentic Dutch vibes. For modern structures, don't miss the Cube Houses or the Erasmus Bridge, while for something more traditional Delfshaven harbour won't disappoint. Rotterdam Centraal is close to it all.
London <> Lille
Train stations: London St Pancras International <> Lille Europe
Avg. duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
For a quick French city break, Lille has to be top of your list. This cultured city close to the border with Belgium promises exquisite cuisine and enchanting old town vibes - especially at Christmas. Be sure to visit Palais des Beaux-Arts and Grand-Place - each within walking distance from Lille Europe station.
Paris <> Cologne
Train stations: Paris Gare du Nord <> Köln Hauptbahnhof
Avg. duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
While there aren't (yet) direct trains to Germany from the UK, you can easily reach Cologne from Paris. This historic city takes on a different kind of vibe during the winter months with its cosy Christmas markets. When you arrive at Hauptbahnhof, the city's Gothic cathedral greets you with sweeping views over the Rhine.
Make the most of your Europe trip with Eurostar discount
Aside from the hefty savings, one of the best things about the Eurostar sale is the wide range of dates you can travel - from 24th November 2025 right up until 11th March 2026. Just don't forget that this is a flash sale and 25%-off tickets are available to book for just 72 hours. So be quick!
Luckily, you don't need a discount code or anything like that - the saving is automatically applied when you search on TrainPal. Here's some inspiration to help you decide where to go:
Festive escapes
Get ready for Christmas markets with everything from twinkling lights to sweet mulled wine and New Year's Eve fireworks - you can take advantage of the Eurostar sale to plan a festive end-of-year getaway with family or friends to some of Europe's prettiest cities.
January blues
Once the Christmas season is over, January (and February) can be a bit of a drag. So why not use the Eurostar sale to book in a cheap European city break or two? A trip to Brussels or Amsterdam will give you something to look forward to during the darker months, plus hotels are usually cheaper at this time of year.
Valentine's Day
Nothing says "Je t'aime" more than whisking your partner away on the train to Paris for Valentine's Day. And, with the Eurostar sale, you can save 25% on your romantic getaway - that gives you a bit of extra cash to splash on a romantic candlelit dinner overlooking the Seine.
Early spring breaks
Make the most of the cheap Eurostar tickets and book a budget-friendly getaway at the start of spring. The slightly longer days give you more time to explore the old town in Lille or to visit the iconic windmills in Kinderdijk, just 30 minutes from Rotterdam.
Essential travel guide for first-time Eurostar passengers
If you've not travelled on the Eurostar before, you'll be pleased to know that it's way simpler than flying - it's a train, after all, and St Pancras Station is certainly not Heathrow or Gatwick. Here are a few pointers and tips to keep in mind when it comes to UK to Europe train travel.
Check-in and border control
You'll go through immigration for France, Belgium and the Netherlands before you board at London St Pancras International - meaning there's no stress when you get off the train in Europe. Arrive 60 minutes before departure, with a valid passport and remember to check entry requirements for your nationality. UK citizens need to complete the ETIAS travel authorisation before travelling.
Luggage
Eurostar is way more generous than airlines when it comes to bags - you can board with two larger suitcases (up to 85cm long) and one small piece of hand luggage. Best of all, there are no weight restrictions. This makes Eurostar a great choice for longer trips and if you plan to do some shopping in the January sales.
Travelling with children
There are discounted fares for children aged 4 to 11, while little ones under 4 go for free as long as they don't take up a seat. Remember, all passengers need to have their own passports. Onboard, you'll find family-friendly seating, space to store pushchairs and baby changing facilities. So you can go ahead and take your kids to the Christmas markets safe in the knowledge you'll have a comfortable and hassle-free journey.
Pets
Only assistance dogs can travel on Eurostar services to and from the UK. If you want to take your pet to Europe, you'll need to look at other options like ferry and car or flying.
Food and drink
The Eurostar Café serves light meals, snacks and drinks throughout the journey, with everything from sandwiches to pastries and coffee available. You're also welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks on board - there are plenty of places to pick up snacks in St Pancras, too. On London routes, Eurostar Plus passengers enjoy a choice of two delicious dishes and drinks served at your seat.
Wi-Fi and charging
Forget roaming charges or running out of battery - there's Wi-Fi available throughout the train with plug sockets to charge your phone, tablets or laptop at all seats.
