Getting from Manchester Oxford Road to Warrington West with Northern takes around thirty-five minutes as it’s only around 21 miles between the two destinations.

Northern runs trains throughout Northern England, covering regions such as the North East, North West, and Yorkshire & Humberside. Manchester Oxford Road station is among the busiest in the city. It is located along Station Approach on Oxford Road. It is easily accessible via local buses and taxis, and as a major city station, it connects to numerous light rail options, which is ideal if you are travelling by rail from elsewhere. It is also linked to Manchester Victoria and Piccadilly.
As a busy station, many UK rail operators choose to run their services through Manchester Oxford Road. Northern, which serves routes to places like Warrington, Windermere, Liverpool Lime Street, and Blackpool, operates from here. As well as TransPennine Express, East Midlands Railway, and Transport for Wales.
It takes eight stops to get from Manchester to Warrington. These are: Trafford Park, Humphrey Park, Urmston, Flixton, Irlam, Birchwood, Padgate, and Warrington Central.

Arriving at Warrington West (WAW)
Warrington West(WAW) is located along San Diego Drive, in Great Sankey, Warrington. It’s a little outside Warrington town centre, so it’s best to depart at Warrington Central station if that’s where you need to be.
Warrington West(WAW) has bus service that operates from the station. However, if you need a taxi you’ll need to book it yourself.
