It takes a timesaving, clock-busting eleven minutes to get from Catford Bridge to London Bridge with Southeastern.
On your journey, you’ll race over towards London Bridge from Catford. You’ll notice the landscape suddenly change from English suburbia to central, busy, and urban London.

Departing from Catford Bridge
Catford Bridge Station can be found between Adenmore Road and Doggett Road, just off the A205 and not far from Lewisham Town Hall. Southeastern operates all trains from Catford Bridge Station.
The station is walkable from the town centre, but local bus routes also stop outside. Taxis can drop you off outside the station’s entrance, which is perfect if you’re travelling with heavy luggage.
Main stops
There is only one stop between Catford Bridge and London Bridge: Ladywell.
This may change, however, due to scheduling alterations, train faults, poor weather, or just engineering work. It’s best to check before you travel to avoid disappointment.

Arriving at London Bridge
London Bridge Station is located in Southwark, in south-east London.It’s an iconic station, as it’s located next to one classic and one modern London hallmark: Tate Modern and The Shard. Tate Modern is the UK’s premier contemporary art gallery, which is found in the old Battersea Power Station, while the latter stands tall as Western Europe’s tallest building.
Seeing London landmarks like this is easy when you arrive at London Bridge. This is because it’s connected to the London Underground station (serving the Jubilee and Northern lines). Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the station's main doors, along Bermondsey Street at the junction with Tooley Street, and even more are waiting by St Thomas Street. This station also features a bus station situated directly outside the main upper-level entrance.
So, you can get anywhere you need to be when you arrive at London Bridge Station. If you feel like a walk after your trip, then Borough Market, HMS Belfast, and not to forget – London Bridge itself are close by.
Southeastern train classes
- Standard Class: Comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. There are also tables and power sockets for your devices.
- First Class: There are no Catford Bridge to London Bridge First Class tickets. This is because Southeastern abolished its First Class service in 2022.

- Luggage: Bags and other luggage items are permitted. Luggage must weigh no more than 23kg. No more than two large suitcases.
- Pets: Dogs, cats, and other small animals can travel for free. Dogs must be on a lead. Other animals must travel in carriers. There is a maximum of two pets per passenger.
- Bicycles: Bikes are welcomed but there is a ‘first come, first served’ policy. You cannot bring your bike if your train departs London during peak hours.
