  • Routes U1 and U2: from Eddington, West Cambridge and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, with Royal Papworth on the U1 and Newnham on the U2. 
  • Route X3: from Cambourne, Papworth Everard, Godmanchester and Huntingdon.

  • Accessibility: There’s step-free access to all platforms via lifts (Category A station), with platforms level with the main entrance. There are toilets, accessible toilets (but no Changing Places) and baby changing on the concourse.

  • Parking: 333 spaces adjacent to the station, including 21 accessible bays. Prices start from £17.50 per day. There are no EV charging stations.

  • Pets: If your dog needs a walk before the journey, Parker’s Piece is around 10 minutes on foot — head north along Station Road and Hills Road, and it’s on the left at Park Terrace.

Greater Anglia’s Cambridge to Norwich runs along the Breckland Line. All services call at Cambridge North, Ely, Brandon, Thetford, Attleborough and Wymondham before Norwich.

Norwich station is on Station Approach, just east of the city centre across the River Wensum. There’s a single main entrance facing Station Approach and Prince of Wales Road. Platforms are level with the main entrance.

Buses stop on Thorpe Road (Stops DD and DE) and Prince of Wales Road (Stops DC and DL), directly outside the main entrance:
  • For the city centre and Castle Quarter: Routes 9, 14, 14A, 15, 16, 17, 25 and 26 all run from Stop DE on Thorpe Road into Castle Meadow in the city centre. It’s also around 15–20 minutes on foot via Prince of Wales Road.
  • For Carrow Road (Norwich City FC): Route 35 from Stop DE goes direct, or it’s around 10 minutes on foot.
  • For the University of East Anglia and Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital: Routes 25, 26 and 26A from Stop DE go to both. Route 26A also calls at Spire Norwich Hospital.
  • For Norwich International Airport: Route 35 from Stop DE runs through the city centre to the airport.
  • For Norwich Bus Station: Routes 5B, 8, A, B and PR3 run from Stop DE.
