Sheffield station is the main railway station in Sheffield city, and is centrally located, perfect for accessing the University. Situated on the east of the city centre, the station offers both mainline services for intercity routes as well as tram services and a nearby bus interchange for travel around Sheffield and the surrounding area. Regular intercity services run to London St Pancras, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Nottingham.

Getting from the station to the University of Sheffield is a breeze, with the choice of hopping on the 9-minute Supertram to the University of Sheffield stop when you’re weighed down with luggage, or enjoying the 25-minute walk through the city when you’re travelling lighter. The University of Sheffield is a well-ranked public university located in the South Yorkshire city of Sheffield. As a member of the Russell Group, it places a particular focus on research.
