Sheffield station is the main railway station in Sheffield city, and is centrally located, perfect for accessing the University. Regular intercity services run to London St Pancras, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, and Nottingham.

The University of Sheffield is a well-ranked public university located in the South Yorkshire city of Sheffield. As a member of the Russell Group, it places a particular focus on research.
