As the main rail gateway to this UNESCO World Heritage city, Bath Spa station offers frequent services to London Paddington, Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff, as well as coastal destinations such as Weston-super-Mare and Penzance.

Exit the station and head down Southgate street, and you’ll soon find yourself in Bath’s historic centre, with its famous Roman Baths, Abbey, and elegant Pulteney Bridge. • Luggage: Passengers may bring up to three items of luggage, such as suitcases, holdalls or rucksacks, at no extra charge. They can be stowed in overhead and end-of-car racks to ensure they don’t block aisles or doors.
