Departing from Richmond

Richmond station is on The Quadrant, right in the centre of the town, making it extremely easy to access.

South Western Railway and the London Overground serve this station. Numerous local buses stop right outside the station. There's also a taxi rank opposite the station's entrance.

Main stops

There is only one stop from Richmond to London Waterloo. This is Clapham Junction.

However, This may change, so it's best to double-check before travelling. Scheduling changes, poor weather, and construction work may cause stops to change, sometimes at short notice.

Arriving at London Waterloo

Located on Waterloo Road, London Waterloo Station is aptly named and incredibly convenient to arrive at from Richmond. It has a London Underground station that serves the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern, and Waterloo & City lines. It even has numerous bus stops around the station and a taxi rank outside exit three.

The world is your oyster if you choose to use the London Underground from Waterloo Station. It can get out anywhere in London, from Shakespeare’s Globe to the British Museum, to the observatory at Greenwich, to the bustling streets of Soho. Yet, there’s so much to do nearby Waterloo, too. You have the London Eye, Tate Modern, The Houses of Parliament, and good old-fashioned Big Ben just waiting to be explored.

• Standard Class: Comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. There are also tables and power sockets for your devices.
• First Class: It is possible to get a Richmond to London First Class ticket. First Class tickets include at-seat wireless charging and more spacious seats and tables. Wheelchair spaces are available in Standard class only. Yet it's worth remembering that this journey is only fifteen to eighteen minutes long.
