• Luggage: You may bring up to three items of luggage free of charge. Larger items should be stored in luggage racks or at your feet to avoid blocking aisles, doorways, or seats.
• Bicycles: Folding bikes are allowed at any time and on all services. Regular bikes and e-bikes are generally allowed, but restrictions may apply on some lines during peak times. Reservations are required on some lines. E-scooters are not permitted.
• Children: Children under 5 travel for free, while those aged between 5-15 are eligible for a 50% fare discount. Family seating, baby-changing areas, and step-free access are available at many stations, as well as assistance with buggies on and off the train.
• Pets: Up to two small pets may travel for free when kept on a lead or in a secure carrier. Pets may not be placed on seats and must be well-behaved at all times.
• Passenger Assist: Services include assistance with boarding and disembarking, luggage assistance, wheelchair reservation, and more. Assistance is mostly available upon request at staffed stations, but for full support consider pre-booking through Passenger Assist.
