Norwich Station offers train services to destinations across the region, including Cambridge, London, Ely and Peterborough. Once you step outside the station, you’re just minutes away from key landmarks and attractions in Norwich. Norwich Cathedral - with its stunning medieval architecture - and the historic Norwich Castle are both easily reachable, and the journey can be done on foot. • Standard Class: Most Greater Anglia trains from Stansted Airport to Norwich have free onboard wifi, USB charging ports, power sockets and comfortable seating, including tables. The majority of Standard Class carriages are air conditioned, with fresh air circulating every few minutes for a comfortable ride. Choosing Standard Class is the simplest way to buy a cheap train ticket between Stansted and Norwich. If you have a railcard, you can reduce the cost of your fare even more, by up to a third.
• First Class: If you’re wanting to train from Stansted Airport to Norwich First Class, you’re in luck. On many Greater Anglia services, you can enjoy the perks of First Class, including wider seats with extra legroom and plenty of tables. • Luggage - You can take up to two large pieces of luggage and one smaller item on board Greater Anglia trains between Stansted Airport and Norwich, at no extra cost.
• Bicycles - Most Greater Anglia trains allow bikes on board for free, and no advance reservation is required. However, full size bikes are not permitted during peak hours on trains heading towards London, but this won’t impact your Stansted to Norwich journey.
• Children - Children under 5 travel for free on Greater Anglia trains, while those aged 5 to 15 pay half the adult fare. Additionally, Greater Anglia’s Kids for £2 offer allows one adult to take up to four children for just £2 return each on many off-peak services.
• Pets - You can bring up to two small pets, such as dogs or cats, free of charge on the Greater Anglia trains. However, they are not allowed to occupy a seat. You can take extra pets for a small fee.
