London Buses 129, 473, and 474 also serve London City Airport station. Depending on the destination, trains depart every 4–10 minutes during peak hours. The station is entirely step-free with escalators and lifts and has a direct link to the airport concourse.

London City Airport trains are operated by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) with interchanges for several other forms of transport along the route. As well as convenient connections to transport operated by Transport for London (TfL), you can also change from Southeastern and Thameslink trains to the DLR at Woolwich Arsenal.

The train to London City Airport from the Bank DLR Station runs between 05:32 and 00:02, and trains in the opposite direction operate from 5:25 to 00:15. Journeys from the Bank take about 23 minutes on average, and trains from Stratford take approximately 15 minutes.

DLR fares are similar to prices for the London Underground and London Overground, which vary according to the zones you travel in and the time of day. For instance, journeys from London Bridge (zone 1) to London City Airport DLR station (zone 3) are about £3.80 during peak hours (06:30–09:30 and 16:00–19:00 Monday to Friday) and £3.10 during off-peak times (including public holidays). Prices for London City Airport trains may be higher if you use National Rail services at Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Charing Cross, Embankment, London Victoria, or London Waterloo.
