Luton Airport Parkway train station

Luton Airport’s train station is well connected to London and the South. Regular rail services get you to Luton Airport Parkway in under an hour. All platforms have step-free access. From there, a quick shuttle ride transports you to the terminal. You can also catch buses to/from Luton Airport, Hitchin, Stevenage, and Dunstable. Oyster cards are not valid for travel to/from Luton Airport Parkway, but you can use contactless payments to travel between London St Pancras International and Luton Airport Parkway.

The Luton DART (Direct Air-Rail Transit) shuttle is a short walk from the station and takes you to the airport in around four minutes, covering a distance of 1.4 miles (2.3 kilometres). Running 24 hours a day, all week, the DART operates every five minutes between 06:00–09:30 and 14:00–18:00, every 15 minutes between 22:00-04:00, and every eight minutes during other times of the day. Tickets are £4.90 for adults and £2.45 for children aged 5–15.

Two direct train services run from London St Pancras International to Luton Airport: the Luton Airport Express operated by East Midlands Railway (EMR) and Thameslink trains. EMR trains take as little as 25 minutes, running around every half an hour from 05:45 to 23:54 Monday to Friday, 05:33 to 22:18 on Saturdays, and 09:00 to 23:00 on Sundays. Thameslink services run frequently (every ten minutes during peak hours) from Brighton and several London terminals, including London Bridge, Blackfriars, and St Pancras International. It takes about 46 minutes to get from St Pancras to Luton Airport Parkway, with trains operating from 00:13 to 23:51. You can buy cheap train tickets for as little as £5.00 when booking in advance.
