  • Amenities: Inside, you'll find sheltered waiting areas, seating, accessible toilets (near Platform 1), refreshments and free public Wi-Fi.
  • Parking: The NCP car park has 437 spaces, including 5 accessible bays, and is open 24 hours. The Peak daily rate is £6.50 and off-peak is £5.40 (from 10:00 on weekdays and all weekend). 
  • Bikes: There are 110 sheltered spaces in the car park and these are covered by CCTV.
  • Luggage: Rayleigh station doesn't have an official left-luggage facility. You can book a space with a third-party provider online before you arrive.
  • Pets: Rayleigh Mount is a great spot to walk your dog before your journey and is around 10–12 minutes on foot from the Station Road entrance via the High Street.

  • Left-side views: Approaching Stratford, you'll see the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the ArcelorMittal Orbit on some services.
  • The "you're nearly there" cue: Stratford is the last stop before Liverpool Street on all fast services. Once the train pulls out of here, you're around 5–7 minutes from the terminus.

London Liverpool Street is in the heart of the City of London, with direct connections to the Underground, Elizabeth line, buses and taxis. 

Trains from Rayleigh arrive across platforms 7 to 17 depending on the service. The platforms are below the level of the main concourse — take a lift or escalator up to reach the exits and onward connections.

Buses stop on Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street road outside the main exits. London buses are cashless, so you'll need a contactless card or device to pay.

If you're here for leisure and sightseeing, Shoreditch High Street is another 8 minutes east and St Paul's Cathedral is 12–15 minutes west via Cheapside.
