Getting from Perth to Edinburgh Gateway and Edinburgh Waverley with ScotRail takes around one hour and fifteen minutes.

On your trip to Edinburgh, you’ll pass through the county of Perth & Kinross and Fife before crossing the Forth of Firth and then arriving at Edinburgh.

ScotRail runs most rail services in Scotland, linking major cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness. It also connects these cities to smaller towns such as Livingston and Galashiels and offers cross-border services to destinations in Northern England.

Departing from Perth

Perth Station can be found in the city centre, on Leonard Street, close to South Inch Park. LNER, ScotRail, and the Caledonian Sleeper all make stops at Perth.

It’s accessible via local buses, which drop you off opposite the station’s entrance, and local taxis, which will take you to the entrance.
