Whether you're travelling with your kids, pets or lots of bags, here's everything you need to know for your London Euston to Stockport journey:

• Luggage: Try not to travel with bags that exceed 30 x 70 x 90cm if possible - bigger cases generally won't fit through the internal doors. You can bring 2 big bags and a small carry-on.
• Bicycles: You'll need to book a bike reservation, but the good news is that it's free. There are 4 spaces on most West Coast Avanti trains. Get to the platform 10 minutes before so staff can direct you to the designated carriage.
• Children: Under 5s travel for free but won't have a seat, so just be prepared to have your little one on your lap if the train gets busy. Kids aged 5-15 get half-price tickets.
