Usually, it takes just under two hours to get from Dover to London Victoria with Southeastern.
You’ll travel up from the Kent coast, with stunning views of the English Channel, before passing through the luscious Kent countryside, sometimes known as ‘the Garden of England’ for its fruit orchards and great weather. Eventually, you will arrive in Greater London before arriving at London Victoria.
Southeastern operates a high-speed network that services London, Kent, and East Sussex, catering to 450,000 passengers on a daily basis.
Departing from Dover
Dover Priory Station is located off Folkestone Road, along Station Approach, near the centre of the town. It directly faces the Western Heights of Dover, a series of forts and ditches created in the 18th and 19th centuries to defend the UK from hostile invaders.
Local bus routes service the station, and local taxis can drop you off outside its entrance. The station can only accommodate thirty-six car parking spaces, which are available seven days a week.
Southeastern is the only operator at this station, serving routes to London Victoria, Chatham, and Ramsgate.

Even though you’re well-placed to explore the local area, London Victoria Station is conveniently connected to a station on the London Underground that serves the Victoria, District, and Circle lines. Meaning it can take you across London in a flash. Alternatively, it’s adjacent to Victoria Bus Station, and there’s even a taxi rank at Terminus Place directly in front of the station.
