Inverness Airport train station is roughly 9 miles (14 kilometres)) northeast of Inverness. All services are operated by ScotRail. The station is unstaffed. It has direct access to Inverness Airport via an open pathway or bus.

It’s approximately a 15–20-minute walk from Inverness Airport train station to the airport terminal building. Follow the signs to the pathway going around the airfield. The pathway is well-lit but isn’t covered. Alternatively, you can take bus routes 11, 11A, or 10A (late evenings and Sundays) operated by Stagecoach, which stop at the bus station just behind the railway station.
