Whitstable Station sits on the Chatham Main Line, with services operated by Southeastern Railway. It offers connections to destinations such as Faversham, Herne Bay, Ramsgate, Margate, Dumpton Park and of course, London Victoria.

From the station, you can wander down to Whitstable Beach, visit the harbour or explore the town’s mix of shops, seafood restaurants and galleries. • Standard Class: Travelling in Standard Class with Southeastern offers a comfortable way to travel to Whitstable. There’s onboard Wi-Fi and, on most trains, fold-down tables or shared table seating. Power sockets may be available depending on the train type. You’ll be able to buy cheap train tickets if you purchase them in advance and use a valid railcard.
• First Class: There is no First Class service on Southeastern routes to Whitstable. All passengers travel in Standard Class.

• Luggage - Southeastern allows you to bring luggage free of charge. Make sure your items do not obstruct aisles or seats and are stowed safely in luggage racks or overhead storage.
• Bicycles - You can take non-folding bikes on off-peak Southeastern services, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Folding bikes are welcome on all services at any time
• Children - With one valid adult ticket, up to four children can travel on Southeastern services for just £1 each, making it an ideal choice for affordable family outings.
• Pets - You can travel with up to two small dogs on a lead or other small pets free of charge. Additional pets may be carried for a small fee, which is half the adult fare per animal, up to £5 for a single and £10 for a return ticket. 
• Passenger Assist - Passengers with disabilities, mobility issues or additional accessibility needs can pre-book support for boarding, alighting, luggage assistance and guidance for visual or hearing impairments.
