However, platform allocations can change, so do check the departure boards before heading over the footbridge.
• Pre-Departure: The Victorian platform buildings contain bars, buffets and waiting rooms, which means that Crewe can outperform most stations of its size for amenities. The main entrance on Nantwich Road has a ticket office as well as a bookshop, while lifts connect to all platforms from the footbridge.
• Local Connections: Buses depart from stops on Nantwich Road, just outside the main entrance. The 103 runs regularly to Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent, while the 85 serves Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the 38 connects to Macclesfield.

• The Station Approach Exit: Take this exit from the main concourse for the most direct route into the city centre. The Northern Quarter is around a 10-minute walk away, and the Arndale Centre is in the same direction.
• The Fairfield Street Exit: Use this exit for taxis, pre-booked pickups and direct access to the Metrolink tram stop.
• Onward Travel: For journeys further afield, taxis queue outside on Fairfield Street, while buses serving the wider area run from Piccadilly Gardens.
