The main entrance on Nantwich Road has a ticket office as well as a bookshop, while lifts connect to all platforms from the footbridge.

• The Station Approach Exit: Take this exit from the main concourse for the most direct route into the city centre. The Northern Quarter is around a 10-minute walk away, and the Arndale Centre is in the same direction.

• Onward Travel: For journeys further afield, taxis queue outside on Fairfield Street, while buses serving the wider area run from Piccadilly Gardens.
