Lewisham station is a National Rail and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) interchange in south-east London. It was originally located east of the Lewisham Road overbridge, but a new station was constructed to serve both the North Kent line and the new Mid-Kent line.

Dating back to 1857, the current station building maintains several of its original elements. Among these features are the skirting, tiling, sash windows, doors and banisters. Intricate cast iron brackets adorn the original canopy on platform 3. Lewisham has a similar design to other listed stations constructed during the same period (like nearby Blackheath and Ladywell), including those detailed supporting brackets.

Lewisham station has sheltered waiting areas, a coffee kiosk and Selecta vending machines, plus a public piano for passengers to play while they wait. There is no WiFi hotspot. If you book train tickets online, they can be collected from the ticket machines. The ticket office is open 06:10–20:50 Monday to Friday, 06:10–20:20 on Saturday and 07:10–20:50 on Sunday.
