Itabus New Connection

Italo has recently launched a new offering known as Italobus, which provides bus connections between major Italian train stations and select cities. The bus stops are conveniently located near the train stations, allowing travellers to seamlessly transition from an Italo train to Italobus for onward travel to various destinations.

More trains to the South

Italo has added new destinations in the south of Italy, including Salerno, Reggio Calabria, and Lamezia Terme. Italo has increased the number of journeys to Calabria from 6 to 8 each day and introduced 4 "double" services. These special services will operate on the Turin-Milan-Rome-Naples-Salerno line, in order to meet the high demand for transportation between the main Italian cities.

Italo is a high-speed train operator in Italy that offers efficient and comfortable travel between major cities. The main routes include Rome to Milan, Florence to Venice, Milan to Naples, and Turin to Bologna, among others.

Italo's high-speed service can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h (186 mph), providing travellers with a modern and enjoyable experience. Italo operates two types of high-speed trains: AGV (Automotrice à Grande Vitesse) and EVO (Evoluzione).

When travelling by train in Italy, Italo is a popular choice for high-speed journeys. Italo operates two types of trains: AGV and EVO, both train types are known for their modern design, spacious seating, and onboard amenities, including free Wi-Fi, power outlets, and entertainment options. AGV trains are Italo's flagship high-speed trains, capable of reaching speeds of up to 360 km/h (224 mph). AGV trains operate most Italo services on the Turin-Milan- Bologna-Florence-Rome-Naples-Salerno route, plus one or two departures on the Venice-Bologna-Florence-Rome-Naples route.

EVO

EVO trains are Italo's newest addition to their fleet, introduced in 2018. They are slightly slower than the AGV trains, with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), but still offer a comfortable and modern travel experience. EVO operates most services on the Turin-Milan-Verona-Venice route and part services on Italo's Venice-Bologna-Florence -Rome-Naples route.
