I have always cared about the carbon footprint of travelling, and trains are one of the best ways to explore the world more responsibly. Whenever possible, I choose rail travel over flying because it allows me to reduce my environmental impact while also enjoying the journey itself. Watching landscapes slowly change through the window is a reminder that travelling does not always have to be rushed.
It can be a slower, more mindful experience. When I'm not working, you will usually find me outdoors. If I'm slow to reply, I'm probably climbing a mountain somewhere with my dogs, walking along forest trails, or taking some time to practise yoga and recharge.
