Arriving at Crewe

• Bicycles: Usually has space for 4 bikes per train (although 1 type of train has room for 8). You'll need a reservation but these are free – just book early as spaces fill up quickly.
• Children: Children between 5 and 15 save 50%, while those under 5 go free. The Friends & Family Railcard gets adults a third off and offers seriously cheap fares for kids (when accompanied by an adult and travelling off-peak).
• Pets: You can take up to 2 pets with you for free to Crewe. Furry friends can only sit on the floors (seats are for humans only) and need to be on a lead or in a container.

• Luggage: Stores bags in designated spaces so they don't get in other people's way. You can take up to 3 pieces of luggage with you, that you can comfortably carry.
• Bicycles: West Midlands Trains lets you travel with a bike without a reservation, but there's normally only 1 space and it's first come, first served. If the trains are quiet, staff may allow extra bikes on board.
• Children: Under-5s travel without a ticket, just be prepared to keep them on your lap if the train gets busy. For kids between 5 and 15, there's a 50% discount. Certain railcards can help families save, too.
